Luxury annexe house ( used for guesthouse )and Japanese garden
There are three rooms in the first floor and three rooms in the
second floor,total six rooms.
Their lavish rooms are faced on long corridors. All the rooms are decolated
with a lot of Japanese-style invaluable woodwork and furniture.
Several Biyo-bu pictures, folding screens, and Kake-mono pictures,
hanging picture, are installed inside the rooms.
Ceilings of the rooms are elaborately-crafted lighting apparatus with the
Japanese-style or the Western-style suitable for each room respectively.
Various valuable natural stones and large garden lanterns are
installed in the Wide Japanese garden.
Almost all the lanterns had been fallen over during the large earthquake
attaking Nagaoka area in 2004, they have been restrored in these years.
A lot of volunteers including the Settaya neighborhood association,
university students and citizens are weeding the garden three or four
times a year.
There are a lot of items to enjoy, so I prepare ten "Don't miss it items" for the luxury annexe house and the Japanese garden. Please don't miss them.
